Chelsea set sights on Bilic?

Slaven Bilic is now being touted in some quarters of the media as the man to take over the helm at Stamford Bridge from Guus Hiddink. Not a bad shout actually – he’s been doing an excellent job with the Croatian national side, is young and very attack minded.

With his close cropped hair and earring you could almost imagine him in the Shed in the 80´s!

He also knows the Premier League having played for both West Ham and Everton.

Bilic doesn’t stand for any nonsense either although I must admit he would be a slightly radical and surprising choice, that said, Hiddink is said to rate him.

The Croatia manager has already hinted that he will consider leaving the Croatia job later this year.

The other hotly tipped Stamford Bridge new man, Ancelotti has publicly stated that he is negotiating a new contract with Milan although rather confusingly, Beckham has already revealed that the Italian manager is learning English.

At least Bilic speaks English. So Ancelotti needs a year to learn the language.
