The expectation is high, the anticipation is great, the nerves are jangling like a Jimi Hendrix guitar, and I have a bellyfull of summer butterflies fluttering around in my stomach. Surprisingly I slept well, but now I am awake and the countdown begins to what can be a tumultuous day in the history of Chelsea Football Club.
Match or better Man Utd's result at Old Trafford this afternoon and Chelsea WILL BE Champions.
A win would be nice, a comfortable win would be even better.
A fast start 1-0 up, 2-0, 3-0 up by half-time will be absolutely brilliant therefore leaving the second-half to party like its 2010.
But this is Chelsea - my beloved Chelsea - who never do anything the easy way.
Even with my experience of forty plus years of following the Blues home, away and abroad, nothing is simple, nothing is easy.
Every thing is acheivable except that Chelsea Football Club do it their own UNPREDICTABLE way.... Oh the GLORIOUS UNPREDICTABILITY of it all.
To be honest at the start of the season, I never expected Chelsea to be in contention for the title, even though we had won our first six games of the season.
When a new manager comes in you expect a 'bedding' in period and give him a year, but 'Anco' started to run before he could walk.
It was only after winning at Old Trafford a few weeks ago, I started to believe that the Premiership title could come back to Stamford Bridge for the first time since 2006 and even more historic, Chelsea are on the verge of a historic double.
But lets get today out of the way first!!

PS: Whatever the result, whatever the outcome of today's game, the triumphant FA Youth Cup winning Academy squad will deliver a lap of honour, with the trophy after the game.
