On the Verge of Creating More History

I can't help being confident about today. I am as confident about Chelsea winning the 'double' as I was nervous about Chelsea going 't*ts' up against Wigan last week. I know I shouldn't be, after all this is the FA Cup - the romance of the cup - just ask Wimbledon and Liverpool from 1988. I am confident that LEGEND JT WILL lift the FA Cup at Wembley this afternoon.

I can't help it. Chelsea are on the verge of creating history, more history for our historic club by winning the 'double.'

Never before have Chelsea and the 'double' been synomynous with each other.

I have seen other teams win it namely: Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool over the years - I was a wee bit too young for Tottenham in the early 60s and have often thought IF Chelsea can ever acheive such a feat.

Today Chelsea stand ninety minutes (extra-time, penalties? HAHA.. Ed) away from doing so.

Two players can write their names into the history books this afternoon - Ashley Cole and Nicolas Anelka - by becoming the first players to win the 'double' with two different clubs.

In 1998 Anelka won it with Arsenal and in 2002 Cole also won it with Arsenal. So there is more history in the making for our historic club.

After the media frenzy concerning JT earlier on in the week, JT IS fit and WILL play. There is however a doubt with Branislav Ivanovic who took a knock in training.

Portsmouth if you believe the press are struggling with injuries: Jamie O'Hara is hoping to play through the pain barrier with pain-killing injections in his back.

Kevin-Prince Boateng, Marc Wilson, Nadir Belhadj, Lenny Sowah, Richard Hughes, Hassan Yehda and Aruna Dindane are all struggling to be fit.
