And the Next One Please.... Stoch Joins Fenerbahce

No sooner had Miroslav Stoch returned from a season-long loan at FC Twente where he won a title medal and the settling of the dust from Joey Cole, Ballack and Belletti's departures, Stochie boy has today joined Turkish side, Fenerbahce, on a four year contract - the transfer fee is undisclosed.

I have to admit I am a tad 'shocked' at the news because I thought Chelsea's Academy policy was to bring-on these youngsters and introduce them gradually into the first team, or like Stochie Boy last season, farm them out on loan to get 1st team experience and NOT harvest them for pure profit.

There is no doubt Miroslav had the potential for Chelsea's first team, especially after the showing, as a substitute he produced, when Chelsea scored two very late goals against Stoke City the season before last.

The signs are ominous for our youngsters, beause if Ancelotti doesn't fancy Stoch as a player, then there is no hope for any of them!!!

Don't worry mate, Stoch did very well in the Dutch league, Kezman did well there prior to joining us too. Stoch maybe deserved his chance in a blue shirt but for someone who is the same age as Sturridge he doesn't quite have the same potential.

We have plenty of young players on our books and the reality is we have to let some of them go now and again and I'm sure the club will assess each of the players negatives and positives as accurately as possible and make an educated decision as to whether to keep them or not.

Chill out a bit all is not lost.

I think we did want to keep him and Carlo liked him but yet again they want regular games and we cant guarantee that and they want to leave well ta ta then its their loss.
