The Academy kicked off their League season at Cobham on Saturday against Man Utd and despite taking a two-goal lead, Utd fought back and just like their first team do regularly, Utd grabbed the winner with almost the last kick of the game.
Milan Lalkovic and Robert Prosenik were Chelsea's scorers in a squad that is completely unrecognisible from last season - age and promotion into the reserves/first team - being the main reasons.

Tonight the Reserves begin their League campaign with a home game at Stamford Bridge against Everton.
The Reserve League has been re-formatted and re-nationalised and we can expect some cracking game this season against additional opponents Man Utd, Liverpool, Newcastle and tonight's visitors.
Could we be hoping for too much to see our new-signing Ramires get a run-out?
