COME ON CHELSEA

I sometimes wonder if Arsene Whinger has too much time on his hands - most firms have a Mr Busy Body sticking their nose in where it isn't wanted - Whinger is no exception and he has given Tony Pullis' side the boot, despite the fact that Stoke are visiting the Champions and not Corporate City - as Woolwich are at Blackburn.
Whinger said, "I saw some pictures last Sunday, you cannot say anymore it is football, it is rugby on the goalkeepers than football. The referees cannot go on and accept that.
"When you see how Shawcross kicked Gomes (aaargh the same Shawcross eh Whinger), how Huth pushed Gomes in the goal, you cannot say that is football anymore.
"If the referees allow that you cannot accept that because that has nothing to do with the game."
So Whinger?
What about your beautiful football that hasn't won Woolwich a trophy for years - no praise for the Champions who beat you fair and square last season and scored a club record amount of goals and who have already scored 12 in two, 20 in three or twenty-nine in five, including SEVEN against Stoke at The Bridge last season.
New signing Ramires could make his debut.
Branislav Ivanovic is a doubt with a problem as described by the Boss and good news for Jose Bosingwa is that he has started to train with the squad after a very lengthy lay-off.
Also available today is Danny Sturridge who was a live-wire in the Community Shield defeat after he came on as a substitute.
Yury Zhirkov is on compassionate leave in Russia after his wife gave birth to their second child earlier on in the week.
Congratulations.
There are no certanties or guarantees in football - except today - the match kicks-off at the proper time - 3pm

Only a fool would say that we could compete with Chelsea player for player,so we will hopefully play to our strengths, fitness and power and not just roll over and die as
Arsi Whinger would have us do.
We would love to have a team like Chelsea but we will always have to look to look to our resources.
Congratulations to Chelsea on winning the championship they
deserve it
Etherington caused us all sorts of problems in the first-half, he lost his game when he got booked and Glenn Whelan's shot that rattled the bar deserved a goal.
Your lot gave us a real difficult time this afternoon.
Thanks for your words and good luck for the rest of the season.
