COME ON CHELSEA

The Holte End - Probably the best 'Home End' in the country - when 'Villa, Villa' is launched into a deafening crescendo. Makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand rigid to attention just thinking about it! Injury hit Chelsea travel to Villa Park for the late kick-off without Didier, Super Frank, Alex, Kalou, Benayoun and Danny Sturridge.
The rightful England Captain, John Terry returns (Thank God) after missing England's shambolic display in midweek against Montenegro.
Despite Chelsea's problems, The Boss 'Anco' remains upbeat. He said yesterday before the squad travelled, "Tomorrow will be a difficult game, we had a problem last year against Aston Villa in Birmingham.

"We have to be ready, obviously we had a fantastic game at home last year, maybe it was the best game we played, but tomorrow will be different.
"It's an important moment, we have a good gap in the Premier League and we want to maintain it, if it's possible to improve it compared to the other teams. Tomorrow will be a good step it we are able to win, it will be fantastic for us.
"It is a good test because without important players we have to show our quality. I always said that I am happy to have this squad with these kind of players. I am not concerned about this, tomorrow our line-up will be good."
He then announced the team:
Cech, Ferreira, Ivanovic, Terry (c), Cole, Ramires, Essien, Mikel, Kakuta, Malouda, Anelka
Our record at Villa Park since 2000 hasn't been the best, winning only once in ELEVEN attempts whereas in the 90s Chelsea won on FIVE occasions.
With our injury problems, a draw today like on six previous occasions, will do just fine.

We SEEM a bit lightweight ...BUT our younguns are going to get a chance of real experience - we can´t have it both ways.
Villa Park is a bit of a jinx for us - a draw would be a decent result all considered.
"It is born out of hypocrisy and fundamental insecurity. There have been two kids on the block for the past 12 years. Suddenly, there is a third and that one is threatening to be more successful than the others and they don’t like it." P Kenyon.
A point will be a good result
