Torres has asked to leave Liverpool for Chelsea

Fernando Torres has asked his agent to request that Liverpool listen to any Chelsea offers and negotiations this weekend. What was seen as an audacious yet optimistic bid from Chelsea last night, has now deepened into an offer that just might come off.
Sid Lowe, A Guardian journalist who has been reporting from Spain for some years now, claims that Torres has "reached the point at which he believes that a departure from Anfield is now the right move for his career", "does not want to miss out on the opportunity to join Chelsea for a second time", and "is pessimistic over the future and his patience has worn thin".
Giving us the come-on
Eye-opening stuff indeed. What is particularly interesting is the "does not want to miss out on the opportunity to join Chelsea for a second time." It would seem Torres has been unhappy at Liverpool for a while now and that when we first glanced in his direction, he would have raised his skirt and batted his eye-lashes back at us if his big red chaperon hadn’t been present.
No release clause
Guillem Balague also understands Torres has asked Liverpool to listen to Chelsea's bid, but claims (contrary to popular belief) that there is no £50million release clause in Torres' contract.
Liverpool are in a tricky situation now – they will either lose Torres (but receive a huge wad of cash) or keep a player that they know doesn’t really want to be there.

Do me a favour and jog on! Fernando is staying. Why would he want to leave and play for a team thats average age is 30+ we have just signed a class striker to partner him. Your team is in trouble the amount you have spent per player that starts for you is shocking compared to were your in the league at this moment. This is a panic buy to get you out of trouble! How many times does Fernando need to come out and say hes staying. Liverpool owneres are not stupid, they are building a world class team and with torres, gerrard,reina, in our squad and suarez were getting closer. The summer will make a huge impact on the players that will be available. However and this is a BIG HOWEVER if he does want to go then he must be allowed to go. No player is bigger than LFC.

same old chavski if all else fails spend spend spend. does roman do his shopping from the sun news paper??????? torres can go , but only abroad, his body language says it all despite last few games. hey lets all jump ship dont like loseing lol wat would the crowds be like at stamford bridge with no success??????????

you can have torres as far as im concerned, he will do the same to you, he wont be able to cope with your long ball tactics for starters all your players are nearly past it and you have no youth coming through even the ones you robbed from other teams. unless of course roman goes and blows another 500+ mill again, and for wat?? not even a euro cup to show for it. we will be laughing all the way to the bank, hope you got a good physio lol mind you, good shopping in the big smoke eh sure fernando will enjoy.
