Everton Preview: Everybody's In Trouble

You couldn't write a comedy script as laughable as the scenario's hitting Chelsea Football Club this week. I said this week would be interesting and intriguing!!! Chelsea were charged by the FA for failing to control players, following Jose Bosingwa's laughable red card. Then the FA announced they would be writing to AvB to explain his comments about the laughable referee, Chris Foy.

Just when you thought the allegations of racism were dying down, the FA also announced that they had received a complaint and they are going to don their 'Poirot' hats and investigate and then..... the Police decide to get involved to investigate the same complaint as made by a member of the public.

Excuse me!!! Did I miss a member of the public on the field of play at the time of the alleged incident?....... LAUGHABLE!!!

So what about the hahahahah fan who was clearly seen on TV making rude gestures to Branislav Ivanovic as he was preparing to take a throw-in in the latter stages of the game?

Rule for one etc etc etc!!

The Blues travel to Goodison Park in tonight's Carling Cup 4th Round to take on Everton, ten days after the 3-1 home victory in the league, missing (in no particular order) Didier, Ashley Cole and Jose Bosinwa all suspended from Sunday's laughable day-out at Loftus Road.

These absentees should see the inclusion of Paulo Ferreira, Ryan Bertrand (hopefully) and the full return after completing his three match suspension of Fernando Torres.

'Naughty Boy' (Well you got to have a laugh.... Ed) AvB suggests the likes of Lukaku, McEachran and Romeu will feature (although he didn't name any names.)

Ramires is unavailable as he is still recovering from injury, but he is expected to be in the squad for the visit of Arsenal on Saturday.

Raul Meireles is cup-tied.

AvB has taken advantage of Bosingwa's suspension by saying, "We decide not to appeal because it could have put us in trouble with regards to his availability for the Arsenal game.

"Because we weren't thinking of involving him in the Carling Cup we use this game to serve the suspension, not that we were happy with the sending-off.

"In that sending-off you could say John Terry is not in a position of cover but it Bosingwa's arm is on Wright-Phillips's shirt then Wright-Phillips's hand is on Bosingwa's arm as well."

Everton will be on a high after their 3-1 win at Fulham at the weekend and we come face to face with our 'nemesis,' Louis Saha who was one of Everton's scorers at Craven Cottage.

Chelsea's record at Goodison Park is not that good, losing two of the last three visits, and if Chelsea need ANY incentive to get a result tonight then it would be the penalty shoot-out defeat at Stamford Bridge in last season's FA Cup.
