We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere condolences to Brad Jones, his partner Dani, their family and friends and to all connected to Liverpool Football Club on the sad passing of four year Luca (Brad and Dani's son) on Friday after a long battle with leukaemia. RIP Luca.
We are back after another two break week for International friendlies and Euro 2012 play-offs and the good news is that Juan Mata and Fernando Torres survived their midweek trip to Costa Rica as the World and European Champions were held to a 2-2 draw.
After the horror show against Arsenal, Chelsea really have to hit the ground running against Liverpool this afternoon.
Despite his claims that Raul Meireles will not celebrate should he score to day against his former club, watching his celebrations back in February when he scored against us, he could well choke on his words. (hahaha... Ed.)
Steve Clarke returns for the first time since joining the Reds as Kenny Dalglish's assistant and speaking of Kenny, would he have moaned if Liverpool had a Champions League game instead of a Carling Cup game next week.
Liverpool return to The Bridge a week on Tuesday, 48 hours after their home game with Money Citeh.
A full squad of 25 players trained from Thursday and there are no reports of any injuries and therefore AvB has a very nice selection headache.
