Wolves 1-2 Chelsea: Prevailing Through Adversity

I hope a certain so-called Chelsea supporting journo for a Red-Top rag and a leading hack of the anti-Chelsea brigade is hanging his head in shame this morning or better still cowering under his desk in Wapping.
If there was discord, disharmony and anti AvB amongst the senior players within the halls of Cobham, then the show of support and love for AvB after Ramires put Chelsea 1-0 up was a figment of my imagination.
The word Adversity should be inscribed on the Shed Wall because when their backs are against the wall, Chelsea react, go out and get the desired result.
There was no knackered carthorse Didier Drogba, no Danny Sturridge, no waste of space in Malouda, no Kalou and the bench comprised of 5 defenders/midfielders including 'keeper Ross Turnbull.
No chance of a plan B then? Not that Chelsea needed a plan B..... eventually.
I had no doubts Chelsea would get a result of some description, after all, I did say yesterday that the game had a draw written all over it.
A draw it nearly became.
Ward equalised a few minutes from time (yet another late goal Chelsea have conceded this season) - errm an irritating 10th time - then two minutes from the end Super Frank got himself on the end of a Ashley Cole cross to make it a joyous 2-1 lead for the Blues.
Only a brilliant point-blank save from Cechie boy in the last seconds kept the three points firmly locked in the safe, for the journey back to Cobham.
Wolves fans will be asking themselves this morning, should Super Frank have got a red card?
A question that Super Frank answered by saying, "I was late and was lucky to stay on the pitch."
"My heart was in my mouth over that challenge. I have to admit that. There was no malice and I honestly mean that but I was late and I might have been a bit lucky to stay on the pitch.
"I said straight away to Hammill I was very sorry. I was trying to get my foot in and I was maybe lucky.
"There were a few things that could have gone either way. It was a full-blooded game and I just apologised to the player because I was a bit late."
The ref, Peter Walton should take some responsibilty after allowing a couple of questionable bookable offences to go, before unleashing a plethera of cards in quick succession during the first half.
He was like a train delayed on his journey, trying to catch up on lost time!!!
