QPR Preview: Return to the Scene of the 'Crime'

Seven games until the next two week International break when England take on the mighty San Marino then travel to Poland start today with the short hop across West London to face QPR at Loftus Road. It seems the ritual of the pre-match handshake WILL go ahead, it seems that Captain, Leader, Legend JT IS fit to face Anton Ferdinand and co.

Also fit it appears is the best left-back in the World, Ashley Cole.

What disturbs me if true, especially after the highs of London 2012 and the mountainous medal haul that Team GB and Paralympics GB accrued is that Anton Ferdinand is considering NOT shaking Ashley Cole’s hand as well as JT’s and his brother is planning the same actions when Utd  visit the Bridge at the end of October.

Get over it!!! JT, in a court of law, was found not guilty!

Peckham isn’t short of a brick or two, but OMG these two are really thick as two short ones.

Three times last season the two teams met.

There was the ‘infamous’ 1-0 defeat, followed by the 1-0 Cup win and then at a wet and soggy Stamford Bridge, Chelsea firmly put QPR in their place with a 6-1 battering with Fernando Torres scoring his first Chelsea hat-trick.

Last night the U21s entertained Liverpool at Griffin Park.

It was Liverpool who entertained us with a second-half four goal burst to win comfortably 4-1. Patrick Bamford with a smart turn and shot at the edge of the area pulled one back at 2-0.

It was interesting to note that Lucas Piazon was not in last night’s squad, perhaps he is being considered by Bobby Di for today’s game at Loftus Road.

Marko Marin was given a 45 minute run out and reports suggest that he suffered no ill-effects from his recent hamstring injury.
