Chelsea 0-0 Man City: Got The Message Yet?

I can’t believe the fuss made over the reception that Benitez got yesterday in his first appearance in the home dugout. You were warned, it was expected. What else was we suppose to do? Welcome him in with open arms, after all the derisory and derogatory things he said about us the fans and our club.
Seriously the bloke is on a different planet if he thinks he can ‘win us over.’
Benitez may turn a few over in his favour, you know the ‘plastics’ amongst us, but the hardcore majority will not be satisfied until he is sent out the door and chased back up the M6, this despite the official lines from the supporters groups, demanding a Benitez apology.
As for the game?
What game?
Twenty-blokes running round a pitch in a sideshow to the main event, the main event standing in the technical area for 90 odd minutes.
On 16 minutes, rapturous applause exploded to honour and acknowledge the efforts and acheivements of the departed Roberto Di Matteo.
His name was sung many times throughout the afternoon and there were lots of choruses of ‘We don’t care about Rafa, He don’t care about us…. All we care about is Chelsea FC… 2,3,4.’
In my opinion the only positives to come out of yesterday’s performance was the clean sheet (the first since October), liability Luiz looked a little more calm and controlled and Cesar aka Dave had a good game at right back.
Next up is Fulham at The Bridge on Wednesday night, fortunately I won’t be there, due to work commitments and to be honest with you, I really do not want to be there!!

You're an idiot.
The only thing one cane deduce from this article is that you are lacking a brain cell.
It is probably best if you write about a Cat's birthday, or similar, where you can pitch your mindless opinion to an equally mindless audience.
When you see the word 'plastics' in an article... It's usually a true 'plastic' that is the author.
Now get back to your 'awesome' weekend job. And let the rest of us smart supports, have our weekend to relax and watch the game.
Yes, I was offended by Benitez too, but I am mature enough to know that he was doing a job- and a good one at that - of getting under peoples skin, so that us Chelsea fans would boo him, not the team; that the press would focus on him, not histeam.
Yes, we WERE robbed by Liverpool. Yes, they WERE lucky. Several times. Yes, he said things which could have been offensive, much like the great Jose did. But thats football. Build a bridge.
Do you really think the Board have appointed RB to drag the club down? Of course not. They dont care what he's said in the past because they are professional enough and mature enough to know that he was just doing a job.
(And just for the record, he wouldnt have been my first choice, but tbh anyone who denies that he is a pretty good manager is either a fool or doesnt know football).
Now he is manager, support him and the club. Be big enough to put your own personal prejudices and your bruised egos to one side and follow the greatest club in the world.
Is it rafas fault ?
You should be looking closer to home ..... but what will you do if he goes ???.

He could well end up staying past the summer, because Manchester City have already recruited 2 of Barcelona's board. If anyone gets Pep Gardiola, it's likely to be City, not us.
Unfortunately, manchester city's owner is more patient than Abramovich, 70 times richer, and has his own modern, well-equipped airforce. Sheik Mansour is still on his first manager (he inherited Mark hughes).
