Swansea City 0-0 Chelsea: Two Bob Scroat

Charlie Morgan is a two-bob scroat ( well actually heir to £42m) and I hope Daddy Morgan, a Swansea City director, takes him to task and gives him a stiff clip around the ear, although I fear, Daddy Morgan will say ‘well done son’ and give him a six-pack of something alcoholic. Apart from major apathy and criticism from all corners, Charlie Morgan looks like he is going to get off scot-free.

Whereas Eden Hazard, who not much older than the 17 year old, should have known better and not got involved, now faces a three-match ban for violent conduct and possible further sanctions from the FA, Chelsea and the Belgian Football Association.

The only way I can describe the game and Chelsea’s performance last night is ‘a case of a bad night’s sex.’

There was plenty of foreplay, but not enough penetration.

The Portly One did everything I didn’t want him to do.

Team wise, the starting eleven looked ok, but the negativity in his tactics and formation, was simply mind-blowing and PLEASE, do not start me on his substitutions…. ENOUGH SAID!!

The Portly One was on an exercise of damage limitation.

He had no intention of going to The Liberty to win last night. He was on a self-preservation mission – to look good – blame the players.

Had his team won through to the final, he would have been toasted as the best thing slnce slice bread – not by the fans – but by the media, who appear to be on mission, to see The Portly One succeed.

As it turned out.

The team failed and a certain Charlie Morgan made sure Rafa Benitez’s shortcomings were deflected away from public scrutiny.

I hope Abramovich, Buck, Gourlay and the rest of the ‘suits’ choked on their post-match brandies.

Despite the above, congratulations to Swansea City and of course to Phil Parkinson’s Bradford City for their wonderful achievement in getting to Wembley.
