Reading 2-2 Chelsea: You Don't Know What Yer Doing!

Call me naïve, call me blaise, call me what you like as long as you don’t call me late for dinner, but for a manager/coach of The Portly One’s experience (or so we are led to believe) I found it absolutely incredible that he and his ‘team’ appeared to have no knowledge of Reading’s recent remarkable turnarounds at The Maj and the form of Adam Le Fondre (formerly of Rochdale) as a supersub, proven again last night.

And please DO tell me. WHAT THE HELL WAS JT DOING SITTING ON THE BENCH? Was it punishment for his words in yesterday’s press, moreover is it then The Portly One has a personal dislike of him?

Cruising at 2-0 with three minutes to go plus stoppage time, Chelsea inexplicably allowed Reading and Le Fondre (ex-Rochdale) to storm back and claim an extremely unlikely point in a match that at one point was a bore fest and then turned into a one-sided affair until those last mad minutes, where any Chelsea supporter will never get those minutes back.

Once a upon a time, Chelsea HAD and I mean HAD one of the meanest defences in European football, now Chelsea are shipping goals like a gushing broken tap.

Le Fondre (ex-Rochdale) got his first with three minutes to go.

What did fatty do?

Instead of shoring the midfield or the defence he pulled off Torres and replaced him with Ba, like for like striker, two minutes into stoppage time.

Two minutes later, chaos ensured in Chelsea’s defence and the ball broke to Le Fondre (ex-Rochdale) to volley the ball high into the net, silencing the Chelsea faithful, who were brilliantly behind the boys all night with support that they really DID NOT deserve, leaving Chelsea rueing a host of missed chances and a wonderful opportunity of cutting the gap on Money Citeh.

I really cannot wait for fatty to leave and I hope it is sooner rather than later.

He is taking my beloved club on a fast ride to oblivion and whoever comes in is going to have nerves of steel to tackle Abramovich and the rest of the suits, that call themselves a board.

Perhaps it's because you have the like of Bertrand (EX GILLINGHAM) in your team?

And he is not a winger(Sm100)

The whole point of mentioning Le Fondre as an ex Rochdale player, was to highlight an International back-four couldn't deal with him and that is no disrepect to Le Fondre himself.
