Jose Set to Sign New Contract Extension Deal

Only hours before Chelsea play their first leg of the Champions League at Stamford Bridge this evening, news is breaking that Jose Mourinho is set to sign an extension to his contract worth another £1m per year taking his money to £5.2m.
(Nice money if you can get it Jose). The deal is a three year extension to his existing deal, which runs out in 2007. For those Jose haters, sorry peeps you got him around till 2010. Jose currently unhappy with Chelsea and the supposed way that Chelsea did not support him after UEFA punishments (if you believe all of the press and media reports and the witchunts that certain members of the daily press are currently waging) went into negotiations with Peter Kenyon on Monday and yesterday Mr Abramovich flew into London to rubber stamp the new deal. Jose is expected to sign his new contract tomorrow (Thursday). Jose's agent Jorge Mendes, said today, 'The negotiations are going well and nearing an end. It will be concluded very soon, maybe even on Thursday.' The deal is also rumoured to have Jose having a bigger say in the running of the club, although it is further believed that Jose has to agree the structure of the club remaining the same and that includes Peter Kenyon (Chief Executive) and Bruce Buck (Chairman) positions as secure.
