U19s Academy Get Off to a Flying Start

Chelsea's U-19 Academy got their league season under way at Wolves this morning with a 2-1 win, after being a goal behind at half-time.

The equaliser in the second half came from the boot of Shaun Cummings and the winner was scored by Scott Sinclair after good work by Jimmy Smith. Prior to the winner being scored, Smith hit the bar with a 25 yarder.

Delighted coach Brendan Rodgers said: "The spirit of the players from pre-season continued into the first game. We controlled and dominated play after the first 15 minutes, we were excellent."
