The dates of Chelsea's Champions League group games have been set with Anderlecht at home the opener, Liverpool at Stamford Bridge the final game of the six.

The Group G Schedule is:

Tuesday 13 September Anderlecht (home)

Wednesday 28 September Liverpool (away)

Wednesday 19 October Real Betis (home)

Tuesday 1 November Real Betis (away)

Wednesday 23 November Anderlecht (away)

Tuesday 6 December Liverpool (home)

The draw earlier this afternoon ensured a repeat of last season's semi-final when it paired us with Liverpool.

Real Betis will provide a repeat too. In 1998 when Chelsea won the European Cup Winners Cup beating Stuttgart 1-0, Chelsea played Betis twice and won 2-1 away and 3-1 at home.

Anderlecht, the current Belgian league leaders have not played against Chelsea before in a competitive fixture.
