I can't help but laugh but it is reported today that Liverpool's hardman and not a bad centre-half Jamie Carragher, has finally spoken out and conceded that his beloved Liverpool cannot catch Chelsea in this season's title race.

Why do I find it funny? Well SAF and AW said the same thing weeks and weeks ago. OK AW and his Arsenal team are way out of this year's summit challenge (well you would when you have lost SEVEN league games LOL), but haven't Liverpool been out of the title race.... period LOL!!

Well obviously not when you have had to put up with the drivel and snide leaving the tones of 'Paella' Benitez and 'Ickle' Gerrard and the rest. But today the man that you cannot understand through his talking and wailing through his throat has finally 'officially' stated the following saying, "The chances of catching Chelsea are gone. They have a great side and they don't lose too many or even draw too many.

"It's a fight for second now. The aim definitely next season is to win the league," he said.

"The strides we have made, winning the European Cup, and how close we are to challenging these top sides shows how well we have done these past 12 months.

"Hopefully over the next 12 months we will make a similar progression and finish off with us being champions at the end of next season."

Yeah. Alright Jamie. See you on Sunday 5th February.
