Wembley WILL NOT BE READY

The Champions resume their FA Cup campaign this evening at Stamford Bridge against Everton in a 4th Round replay with the winners having the right to face Colchester United in the fifth round on Sunday 19th February 2006.

The Special One's dream of leading out Chelsea at the new Wembley in May looks scuppered today as it has been reported that the Millenium Stadium has been booked by the FA to host this years final. Reports are adamant that Wembley WILL NOT be ready. FA Cup Final day is 13th May 2006.

Already this season Chelsea and Everton have met twice, both at Goodison Park and both games ending in 1-1 draws. Everton report that Nigel Martyn is injured, therefore Richard Wright takes his place. Ferguson is out through suspension, Beattie is set to return along with Tim Cahill.

Chelsea however do not report any such injury problems after the game with the Red side of Liverpool last Sunday, but expect JM to shuffle the pack slightly in readiness for Saturday's game at Middlesbrough.

Carlo is expected to start, I would expect Glenn Johnson to make an appearance, with Gallas moving across to replace Del Horno. Diarra may start in place of Makelele and I have a funny feeling that Eider will start up front instead of Crespo.
