Scott Makes His Full Reserve Debut!

After what has seemed to be an eternity without a fixture Chelsea Reserves are also in action tonight with a League game at Aldershot Town FC against Watford. The reason for the long spell without a game was the FA Youth Cup tie at Brighton, plus Derby County's resignation from the Reserve League.

But with every cloud there is a silver lining and that is Scott Sinclair (who this reporter believes is better than Theo Walcott) makes his full Reserve debut along with left-back Ryan Bertrand and youth team Captain Jack Cork, makes his second full appearance due to Anthony Grant going out on loan to Oldham Athletic.

I hope some hardy fans turn out to watch the youngsters play, after all with a 7pm kick-off the second half will be five minutes old when the seniors kick off against Everton.

Watford are currently bottom of the Reserve league and Chelsea have already won 4-0 earlier in the season with Shaun Wright-Phillips one of the scorers.
