Scott Sinclair to Lead the Attack

The reserves travel to Norwich City this evening, hoping to emulate the Academy who won at Carrow Road in the FA Youth Cup a while back.

Because of Champions League action this week, the reserves will field a young and inexperienced side led in attack by the (better than Theo Walcott) Scott Sinclair.

The game kicks off at 7.30pm and there will be live updates on the message board.

As Yves Ma Kalambay has gone out on loan to Watford, Lenny Pidgeley returns between the sticks after his inclusion in the 16 man line-up against Colchester yesterday.

Also back in the line-up is Anthony Grant who has returned from his loan spell at Oldham Athletic. My 'spy' in the North-West, a 'Latics' die-hard,' said that in the two appearances that Granty made he did well and the Latics fans were disappointed not to see him play more.

After last week's extremely entertaining goal-less draw against Arsenal reserves, Chelsea will be looking to come away with maximum points as Norwich are bottom of the league and will be looking to complete the 'league double.' Chelsea won the home fixture 2-0 with goals from Phil Younghusband and Jimmy Smith.

Chelsea team:

Lenny Pidgeley, Dean Smith, Michael Mancienne, Adrian Pettigrew, Jonas Elmer, Jimmy Smith, Anthony Grant, Danny Hollands (capt), James Younghusband, Scott Sinclair, James Simmonds.

Subs: Nick Hamann, Ryan Bertrand, Jack Cork, Shaun Cummings.

Full coverage on the message board from 7.30pm.
