Scott on Course for Club Top Scorer

As the Reserves do not have a fixture this week, Scott (Where is Theo Walcott?) Sinclair returned to the Academy starting line-up last Saturday against Reading - and guess what?? - he scored another two goals!!
Four in week - last Monday against Coventry, Scott grabbed a brace and he did it again on Saturday morning as Chelsea beat Reading 4-2. Five wins in a row puts the Academy second in their group, behind leaders Southampton. Coach Brendan Rodgers (a former Reading staff member) was well impressed. He said "
"We continued our excellent run which sees us move clearly into second place in our Group behind Southampton. Next week we are away to Aston Villa who lead their Group, and that will be a good test."
Chelsea quickly raced into a three goal lead with Jimmy Smith scoring within a minute of the start. Then Fernandes scored Chelsea's second and then it was the start of the Scott (Where's Theo Walcott?) show. Scott got his first goal from close-range after then Reading 'keeper failed to hold a long range shot and then Scott's second, Chelsea's fourth after a brilliant pass from Jimmy Smith which Scott ran on to score.
At 3-0 Chelsea didn't have it all their own way. Reading pulled it back to 3-2 before Scott got his second and bagged the victory for the Academy.
Scott's total for the season stands at 18. 15 for the Academy and 3 for the Reserves. Certainly on course for the club's Golden Boot award for being top-scorer.
