I think that a certain National Red-Top newspaper has made a right real wally of Newcastle's Robbie Elliott by portraying him as a little 'mummys boy' complaining that he hasn't received a reply or an apology from little Shaunie after his red card at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.
Can you imagine how Ian Wright - Shaun's dad must be feeling these last couple of days?? - His little Shaunie accused of diving and getting an opposition player sent off!?!!!?!!?!! What a load of Barry Hollocks!!! To a degree Elliott got his come uppence after giving it to 'Coley' twice in the back when Cole was on the floor, during the second half and interestingly enough going back to the Fulham game the identical situation but involving Duff got Gallas sent off. Double standards. Nah too much of a co-incidence.
Elliott 'If you don't say sorry, you will have ended my season. Boumsong, Moore, Bramble all fighting for my place. I am 32 and I am looking for a new contract." As the notion that as a player now - you might consider yourself crap - after all you only got into the team on Wednesday night because Boumsong was suspended and Bramble was injured and Moore only made his debut as a substitute.
In the same article, Elliott claims that Bennett made a mistake, but by FIFA red tape Bennett's hands are tied. What happened to the FA/PL's video evidence committee (this game isn't regulated by FIFA) at worse it is regulated by UEFA, even worse this game is regulated by the FA. Where is there retrospective video committee then? Hmmmmm must be still on holiday LOL LOL LOL LOL!!
