Sunday sees the curtain come down on another eventful Premiership season for so many many reasons. Fortunately the spolight to a degree does not shine on Chelsea Football Club tomorrow whereas it has done for most of the season for good and bad reasons.
The Premiership is sealed and the celebrations for Chelsea's second successive title win have been going on for a week and will no doubt to a certain degree will go on all Summer and at least until the new season starts in August. For the first time in nine long months, I have been able to enjoy other things that life has too offer than to worry about or watch the fortunes of Chelsea Football Club, simply because due to our SECOND SUCCESSIVE Premiership title win, there IS nothing to worry about. Let me allow all the fans of other football clubs in this country that have relegation, promotion, last game at their 'long established home', cup finals whether Domestic or European, issues to get frantic with and all 'alien crash landing as in Indpendence Day, get all big and bold with your big long dreadlocks crashing down and spoiling my BBQ,' aka Will Smith, I know the words are wrong but you get my drift. But didn't Jeff Goldblum's screen wife look so fine and come to think about it, what about Bill Pullman's (as President) screen 1st Lady wife, when she says 'Ballet' to answer Smith's girlfriend's statement when she says that she is a dancer, and the look on the 1st Lady's face when she replies, 'no exotic.' Chelsea trained at Cobham this morning before travelling up to Newcastle this afternoon. JT didn't go because of his injury that is now not threatening his World Cup chances. Super Frank is on his hols and Joe Cole maybe rested too. Eider Gudjohnsen may not travel either. Although he played at Blackburn in midweek, the rumour mill has been churning out that Eider is being linked to Blackburn, Newcastle and now Tottenham Hotspur. Eider was due to appear on Chelsea TV last night but pulled out at the last minute. Chelsea have made no comment. At the end of last season, Chelsea played at St James' Park and were given a standing ovation by the home crowd and the Chelsea team was led out by ex-Chelsea left back Celestine Babayaro. Will he do it again? Or will Scott Parker have the honour? Or will they both do it? Lastly, will the Newcastle crowd be as generous as they were last season? Who knows you decide!! Seriously anybody trying to second guess the starting XI tomorrow would have a better chance of winning tonight's National Lottery or Monday's Lottery draws, you know the new one which has its first draw called - Monday's Lottery. (What a great use of keywords LOL LOL). Me and hundreds and thousands of Blue supporters are so just looking forward to next week's Premiership title parade, where we can celebrate another significant entry in the history of Chelsea Football Club, before we set our allegiances to following the fortunes of England setting off for the 2006 World Cup. In the words of our Captain Marvel JT........ COME ON THE CHELS!!! 40 YEARS A BLUE!
