After Saturday’s top of the table clash with Nottingham Forest that ended in 0-0 draw, Rovers are straight back into action in front of their own fans as the Terriers of Huddersfield Town visit Prenton Park on Tuesday night.
Saturday’s draw with Forest ended Rovers 100% record at home this season but they still remain unbeaten and will be looking to get back to winning ways straight away in this game.
On their travels, Huddersfield have picked up just four points from a possible fifteen with a win and a draw and most of Town’s away games have involved goals in decent numbers with the Terriers having scored and conceded fourteen goals on their travels already this season.
They picked up their first away win of the season on Saturday with a surprise win at Swansea and will be looking to build on that success at Prenton Park.
Last season, Rovers travelled to the Galpharm Stadium almost exactly a year ago to the day of Tuesday’s game and held the hosts for 87 minutes, including a penalty save by John Achterberg. With just three minutes to go however, Schofield popped up to give the visitors a 1-0 win.
Rovers got revenge at Prenton Park in February of this year by taking the lead after just four minutes through Carl Tremarco before Graham levelled for the Terriers. However Huddersfield born Delroy Facey sunk his home-town club with a goal four minutes from time to give Rovers a much needed 2-1 win.

Rovers have doubts over several players with Chris McCready and Calvin Zola (both hamstring) and Gareth Taylor (face) all struggling to be fit after picking up injuries in Saturday’s draw with Nottingham Forest.
In addition, Danny Harrison (ankle) is out long term for Rovers but Jason McAteer is close to full fitness after a recent injury and Chris Greenacre is also fit again.
Paul McLaren, who picked up his fifth booking of the season on Saturday will play his last game against Huddersfield before suspension.

Chris Brandon may return for the Terriers after missing their last eight games through an ankle injury. Terriers Boss Peter Jackson has no new injury or suspension worries ahead of this match.
