Coca-Cola League One at Prenton Park

Port Vale travel to Prenton Park this Friday looking to become the first team to take the 3 points back home with them.  Meanwhile Rovers are looking to go top if they win.

After 13 games Rovers are 4th with Vale 10th after a good start they have had some indifferent results lately.  A win would take Tranmere top but Port Vale wont make it easy for ronnies more side who have lately found it hard to find a win during some very tough matches

Tranmere picked up a credible away point against Swansea while Port Vale slumped toa  3-1 defeat against Rotherham at home.  Tranmere will be looking to keep pressure on at the top before most of the front runners play the following day.

Port Vale started there season well with 5 wins from 5 although they have only managed one win from there last 6 league one games.  It will be a big ask for them to come to Prenton park and be the first team to get a win and I’m sure they would take a draw, although Tranmere will be looking for the win.

Lat season Rovers beat bale twice a 3-0 home win and a 2-0 away win a rare double during last seasons relegation battle and will be hoping to continue this trend.

As Tranmere look to go top they also look to bring back the brilliant Friday night atmosphere that was instrumental in our win against Bristol. Get behind the lads and lets hope for a Rovers win!
