All the pre-match news and information ahead of Rovers' FA Cup Third Round Replay at Edgar Street on Wednesday night as Rovers and Hereford battle it out for a place in the Fourth Round where the winner will face Championship side Cardiff City at home.

For the first time in almost exactly ten years, Rovers travel to Edgar Street to face Hereford United, once again in the third round of the FA Cup as was the case ten years ago but this time its for a replay after the two sides drew 2-2 at Prenton Park ten days ago.
Once again Tranmere are providing free coaches for the away trip, just as they did against Chesterfield and Bradford in the earlier rounds and with the 1,500 allocation virtually sold out, it should make for some great support for Ronnie Moore's men that can hopefully inspire then through to the next round and a home tie against Cardiff City a week on Saturday.
At the first attempt to get through ten days ago, the sides drew 2-2 in a game that saw a flurry of second half goals including three goals in four minutes just after the hour mark.
Smith put Hereford ahead with a fine goal on 65 minutes before Rovers equalised ten minutes later through Steven Jennings. The parity lasted less than sixty seconds though as Trevor Benjamin was afforded the space and freedom of Birkenhead to put the Bulls back into the lead with another good finish.
This time though it was the visitors turn to sleep as Gareth Taylor headed Rovers level again just two minutes after going behind to earn the replay we now have before us.
As mentioned earlier, it's almost exactly ten years to the day since Rovers last visited Edgar Street, again in the third round of the FA Cup when two goals from Gary Jones and a third from Clint Hill gave Rovers a 3-0 victory.
The same result on Wednesday would do very nicely so lets use the big away following to our advantage and spur the lads to the Fourth Round!
