Ronnie Blasts Referee Boyeson

In his post match comments, Ronnie Moore blasted referee Carl Boyeson after the first half dismissal of Ben Chorley which saw Rovers throw away a one goal lead to eventually fall 2-1 in the second half - a result which saw them slip out of the play-off places.
After seeing his side lose 2-1 at Walsall on Saturday afternoon following yet another sending off away from home, Tranmere boss Ronnie Moore blasted referee Carl Boyeson and his officials in a rant that could land him in hot water with the Football League and the FA.
Ronnie objected to the penalty awarded to Walsall after Kevin Betsy was impeded by Ben Chorley whilst Rovers were 1-0 up in the game following a Jennison Myrie-Williams header.
Although Danny Coyne saved the penalty, the damage had already been done with Chorley's dismissal as Rovers failed to hold their lead until half-time and then went down to a second half winner.
Speaking after the game to the Tranmere Rovers Official Website, Ronnie Moore said....
"It's hard enough to come here and play 11 v 11, never mind 12 v 10. I don't even think it was a penalty. It was a massive decision to make, but you can't do anything when the official says it is a penalty."
"We had a little panic and wobble and gave away a silly equaliser which came off Shane. The second goal was pure bad defending then we huffed and puffed without creating too many chances. But the whole story of the game for me was the major decision."
"We know how many games are left, but do they know how important the decisions are? I think the linesman on my side in the second half wanted to referee it. How many decisions he's made that could have gone either way. It was an interesting one with Greenacre when he was put through, and then the keeper has taken him out. He didn't see the foul on Ian Goodison which was inside the box."
Ronnie Moore has Blasted the Performance of Carl Boyeson
"We've asked the referee to have a look at it and he said he would. We don't want another frivolous appeal. I'll look at it and see."
"It's not the end of the world. There's still a long way to go. If we take twelve points from the last four games we'll be there. There are a few twists and turns to go. Look at Brighton today, who'd have thought that would happen. But we need strong officials for the remaining games."

If we can appeal we may as well do so cos if we lose the appeal Chorley will miss the rest of the season but if we don't appeal he will be back for the last game so an extra game probably won't make much difference at this point in time?
Do you agree with Ronnie's Comments?
Also its definately not a penalty, but to be fair from the Ref's view it was a goalscoring oppurtunity and was last man, if the Ref thought it was a penalty he had to send off Chorley.
Big decision to be made but i think he got it wrong.
I think Ronnie may well get punished for his comments anybody else think that?
Referee's need more respect and people need to understand that it's a difficult job. They're not going to get everything right. We as fans think we're right all the time but in all honesty, are we?
