Player of the Month for March Confirmed

After two weeks of voting in quite large numbers, Rovers midfielder Steven Jennings has been crowned the Player of the Month for March by Total Tranmere readers. Jenno has been in contention for the Award many times this season and this month has been no exception.

After a fortnight of voting we have the results of our latest site poll in which we asked our readers to name their ‘Player of the Month for March'.  The result of the poll was as follows.....

In possibly one of the closest results of the season for a Player of the Month poll, there was very little to choose between three or four players by the time the voting closed at the start of this week.

The ever reliable Robbie Stockdale and the much improved Ben Chorley were both in contention with Chorley in particular picking up Man of the Match awards for two consecutive matches against Bournemouth and Swindon Town.

Chris Greenacre, who netted four goals in March, also polled a fair share of votes but the winner was Steven Jennings who it has to be said is in contention for the Player of the Season Award after his best season yet at the Club.

Jennings, who won the Man of the Match Award in March for the home game against Hartlepool, polled almost 19% of the votes cast which made him a close winner over Ben Chorley and the award is deserved, not only for his performances in March but for his overall contribution to the side this season.
