Caption Competition May (1) - Results

Once again it's time to announce the winner of our latest Caption Competition ahead of the launch of an all new competition tomorrow morning. This fortnight we had some of the best entries we have had for any caption competition so far and the choosing of a winner was not easy.
The time has come once again this week for a new Caption Competition on Thursday which means that today is Caption Competition Results Day ahead of the launch of the new Caption tomorrow.
As a reminder, the picture we asked you to come up with captions for this time around was......
After trawling through a stack of excellent entires this time around which made choosing the winner very difficult, we are able to announce that the winning entry the caption submitted by St Pauli whose winning entry was.....
Man in white shirt: "Why don't you sit down Ronnie?"
Ronnie: "The chair I was going to use is broken. I borrowed a suitable replacement, but have put it on the other side of the hall where it is less effective. I have a brand new chair, but I don't feel it's ready to be used in such an event so I may use a coffee table instead. Don't get too comfy though, as I may take away the chairs that are doing a good job and bring in a bookcase 10 minutes before the end!!"
There were a number of other good entries that weren't quite good enough to win and included the following.............
St Pauli - "For the last time, 2 Lagers, 1 Guiness, 1 Bottle of Red and two Alcopops for the kids!! "
TRFC No.1 - Guy with outstretched hand: We have had him stuffed but I'm sure he's a more effective left winger than Sherriff.
