Best or Worst Poll Number 3 – FA Cup Classics

Time once again for our ‘Best or Worst’ series of site polls as we ask you which was the better of two FA Cup Classics which both involved Tranmere in the same cup run in the same season in 1999/2000? Both were Cup upsets but which was better in your opinion?

Best or Worst Poll Series No. 3 – FA Cup Classics

Over the summer, to keep the site ticking over amidst the rumour and speculation which is sure to surface time and time again, we are running a series of fortnight long polls on the Site which is titled ‘The Best or Worst'.

Each fortnight, we will pose a question with two answers and ask either which answer is the best or which is the worst (depending on the topic) before bringing you the results of each poll after fourteen days as well as launching the next poll in the series.

As well as enabling you to vote in the poll each fortnight, we also hope that the questions that we pose each time will spark some debate on our Message Board as people explain who they have voted for and why in each different category.

In our most recent poll of the series which has run for the past two weeks, we asked you the question ‘Which was Better - The League Cup Semi-Final Second Leg v Bolton OR The Final Vs Leicester?' and the results of this poll will be announced tomorrow morning right here.

Yates v Everton

Steve Yates Scores Against Everton in the 3-0 win!

In the meantime though, it's time to launch our third poll of the series which will run for the next two weeks of the summer and this time we ask to you to vote once again for a ‘Best' rather than a worst as we ask ‘Which was Better - The 3-0 win at Everton or the 4-3 Comeback against Southampton?'

Once again the poll is designed to keep some form of debate going on our Message Forum during what is traditionally a quiet time of the year in the close season so don't take the debate too seriously but let's discuss the finer points of both games mentioned!

The results of this poll will be announced two weeks tomorrow (Wednesday), with the next poll in the series being revealed the day before on the Tuesday (two weeks today).

The poll can be found on all the pages of this Site either at the bottom of the Homepage or on the bottom of the right hand side menu depending on which page of the site you are viewing at the time.

If you have any problems finding or voting in the poll, contact our Admin Team on info@total-tranmere.co.uk.

I missed both of these games (the worst thing I've done supporting Tranmere to date) so I can't really comment.

It is a hard one to choose and some people probably won't be able to choose one way or the other lol!

I think it's impossible to split either, well, not impossible, but very hard. Perhaps the Everton game sneaks it on the basis that it was a comfortable victory away form home against local rivals as opposed to a quite increadible come back against a team doing well in the Premier League

southampton game just nicks it for me... at the time it was the greatest comeback in fa cup history and i had never heard prenton park go as wild, except for when we played there! Everton was still a cracking performance.. i remember two coaches got bricked
