Ronnie Pre-Match: “I’ve Got Confidence in the Lads

Ronnie Moore insists he is confident that his players can erase the memory of last week’s home defeat to Millwall when Tranmere visit Leyton Orient this Saturday afternoon in Coca-Cola League One in a bid to maintain their recently impressive away form – a contrast to their fortunes at home.

Speaking to Tranmere World, Rovers Manager Ronnie Moore insisted that Saturday's 3-1 home defeat against Millwall will not effect his players going into the latest match away at Leyton Orient, a ground which has not been good to Tranmere in recent seasons.

Moore told Tranmere World............

"We've got to put it to the back of our minds and get on with it.  It's gone now. If we do that, we've got lots to look forward to.  There needs to be a tweak, there's no doubt about that.  We know where the problem is and we have to put it right."

"We've played well away from home.  We've got seven points from the last possible nine and it could have been all nine.  We've not done too well at Orient in recent seasons but it's a nice place to go and I've got enough confidence in the lads for us to get a result."

"We can't be a one man team.  If Ian Goodison is away on international duty we have enough here to cope with it.  Jamaica are flying at the moment so he'll be missing again next month.  If I was Ben Chorley or Godwin Antwi I'd be gutted if I didn't think I could replace Ian Goodison."

"We have to get it right mentally and I think we've just been lacking a bit in those positions."
