Hereford United v Tranmere Rovers Match Discussion

For those who are unable to go to the away game against Hereford this afternoon, here is your platform for discussing all the events of the afternoon as well as the build up to it pre-match and any other aspects of the match that you may wish to discuss here.

Hereford United Match Discussion Thread

At Total Tranmere, we always like to take note of feedback from the users of the site and respond to it in the best way we can.  One thing we have picked up on more recently is that after Tranmere games there seem to be a lot of different threads that get started about the same game.

As a result of this feedback, from now on we will be providing Match Discussion Threads for every occasion when Tranmere play.

Tranmere are of course playing away at Hereford United this afternoon in Coca-Cola League One so if you're not going to the game, why not join in the banter right here while the game is going on and even discuss the team news and build up to the game beforehand too?

Maybe if you have a friend or family member texting you from the game you can post their views here for others to see as the game progresses.  Or why not post the line-ups or anything else you can think of.

You could also use this thread to discuss other interesting scores in League One as well.

What you discuss below is up to you but hopefully it can all be focused on one thread to make it easier for everyone to use.

Just got back (first for a change!) and it was a game that could have gone either way and on balance a draw was the fair result.

To concede twice so soon after scoring was frustrating but we could easily have lost the game as much as won it.

Kay had a great game at the back although we did miss the arial presence of Chorley and the workrate of Moore.

I thought Shuker had a poor game and Savage wasn't much better. Bas should have won it at the death after doing the hard part of beating the keeper to the ball. If only he had taken the time he had to slot it home instead of trying the acrobatic it could have been another late and memorable win for Rovers.

Gornell had a quiet opening but just as he was gettin into the game he was subbed for Barnett.

The only other question mark would be Coyne on the first goal as it definitely hit his hands (we were standing right by the advertising boards and could hear the contact) but I would like to see it again before I'm too harsh on him.

All in all a good result if we can now win on Sunday!

agree with sub about the fact we could of lost or won yesterday.

I think he played the wrong team yesterday but hopefully after yesterday he will put it right for 2moro.

barnett should have started instead of edds who did sweet F all! Sonko should be upfront and Cresswell should be wide.

This is the team i would play 2moro.

Coyne

Johnson Chorley Goodison Taylor

Barnett Jenno Kay

Shuker Savage Sonko

Overall i think we played okay aslong as we get a win 2moro

Interesting fact that Sonko is now our out-right Top Scorer on six goals!

Funny how many of our fans this season have slated him (i include myself in that) yet he has still produced a good wedge of our goals.

Tomorrow I would go for...

Coyne

Edds Goodison Chorley Taylor

Sonko Jennings Kay Moore

Savage Gornell

I would have Edds for Johnson at right back and for me Barnett should never be ahead of Jenno or Kay in midfield just at the moment.

We all know though that John Johnson will play meaning Edds will be mosty likely in the bench.
