Well I have to say I did not see that result coming even at half-time as I was ready to go and get a pillow to use in the second half.

Despite the loss of Kay (through injury as we now know), the second half performance was just amazing and the two Man of the Match contenders for me were Steve Jennings and Ian Moore but if pushed to choose I would have to say Moore.

I say that partly because he scored two goals but also for the fact that in the first half when a lot of players looked sluggish he was still working hard.

Barnett failed to impress really but he was playing out wide so that had to have had an affect.

It was also great to see McAughley not only be on the bench but get on at the end too! Great experience for the lad and I'm sure Matt for one will have more to add on that later.

You missed out Edds who was fantastic given the criticism he recieves, he was really good, we didn't even miss Kay. Good performance from him.

Definitely a poor error by me yeah - Edds was excellent second half and had he played for 90 minutes may have been in there for Man of the Match

Just like to add, before the game i said i can see Edds scoring his first today - Brilley laughed and said no chance.

Man of Match - Moore for me.

Spot on mate Moore was the only player for me in the first half. Branett was total@#$%&and looked like he did not care never mind find a place in the team.In the second half we smashed them all over the park.

For the record I said i reckon 4 goals this end at half time.....can't believe it actually happened though!

You certainly enjoyed celebrating all the goals John with your fellow W*nker in the Green!!

i thought it was a decent second half performance to go with a very goood first half performance.

ben chorley had a terrible first half but improved in the second half.

shotton again was fantastic and to have him back will be essential to our promotion push!

barnett considering he has played hardly any first team football and was out of position played really well, i know im biased but stil he looked posative going forward and played 3/4 realy good passes.

moore deserved his goals and if it where not for a great tackle he would of got a great hatrik.

jennings worked his socks off and proved that he needs to be playing further forward and should not be used as a defensive midfielder beccause when he gets involved driving forward from midfield he was fantastic.

Shuker looked back to his old self really good running and dangerous throughout.

after this performance i am realy posative about ourchances .

lastly was wondering if anybody else spotted ian hume sat in the exec boxes and bas savage sat in the seat infront of yours truly.

I had heard Iain Hume was there but I didn't see him myself!

I saw himk but only after dani told me edds was boss today i thought motm was jennings he played super!
I thought it was the best performance of the season but yet i cant see us getting a run from it as were too inconsistent!

If we can win tomorrow against Stockport then Saturday's game at Crewe will be crucial.

With our home form good, a win to kick-start some kind of good away form will be vital if we are to continue chasing the play-offs.

and Crewe is the place to go at the moment, after their latest hammering

Stockport haven't beat us at PP in their last 10 trips, we have won 7 of those against them...

At Crewe though, it has been 5 matches since we won there, and we also haven't won in our only 3 trips to Cheltenham, and with Leyton Orient at PP, we have won 5 out of our last 6 matches against them, with 4 of those finishing 3-0 to us.

Looks like we will probably get 8 or 9pts in all honesty, but I would love it if we could claim all 12pts, no matter how we perform, it seems to me like we aren't making any progress in terms of gaining ground, we seem to win when all the other teams above us do, I know we have games in hand, but Milwall are 7pts clear and they have a game in hand over us, Peterborough and Scunny are also 7pts clear with only the 1 game in hand (which could potentially put us back to 4pts behind, where we were at the start of the year anyway). The only side at the moment who look catchable are Oldham, 8pts clear with 2 games more than us under their belts. We still have Peterborough, Oldham, Leeds and Scunny to play, and we can't go throwing away the points against them if we are to make the play-offs.

Potentially going to Scunthorpe on the last day of the season with both of us needing to win to get a playoff position isn't the position I want us to be in 20 games from now. We have to make the most of the games against teams near the foot of the table which we have comming up in the next 2 weeks.

Fantastic that Josh got on at the end. He's a really huge prospect with an exciting future ahead of him and it was very good (and surprising) to see him not only on the bench but also get a substitute appearance at the end.

Dani why are you biased? i thought it was a good team performance they just need to be a bit more composed on the ball and try playing some short balls as well as long and for me moore won more balls in the air and held up more balls then baz has all season sorry for my late reply been in work
