Ronnie: "Our Passing And Movement Was Terrific"

Ronnie Moore was full of praise for his Rovers side following the 2-1 home win over Stockport County last night that moved them up to seventh place in Coca-Cola League One and five points from the play-off places with a game in hand on sixth placed Oldham Athletic.

After another great display from Rovers on Tuesday night against Stockport County at Prenton Park that put them firmly back in the play-off race, Manager Ronnie Moore was full of praise for his side but was disappointed that the scoreline was so close after conceding a silly last minute goal.

Moore told Tranmere World......

"It was men against boys.  I'm gutted we conceded the goal because it makes it look close, and the game wasn't close.  I'm disappointed we only got two."

"We dominated the game and played some brilliant stuff.  Stockport are a good side but we outclassed them tonight and made them look ordinary.  Our passing and movement was terrific at times."

"Shukes and Ian ran them ragged.  Gareth Edds will get goals - he did in pre-season and he has had the chances. I thought the first goal might be the one
that triggered it off."
