Achterberg Testimonial Meal - New Date Confirmed

After the official announcement last week that the celebration meal for goalkeeper John Achterberg's testimonial had been postponed due to the re-arrangement of the away League One tie at Colchester United, a new date for the event was announced today.
The celebration meal as part of John Achterberg's three testimonial events will now take place on the evening of Thursday 5th March after the original date was cancelled due to the re-arrangement of Rovers' Coca-Cola League One match away at Colchester which was frozen off on 3rd January.
With that match now taking place on Tuesday 10th February, the original date or the dinner of Monday 9th February became impossible to use.
Achterberg's Testimonial Dinner has now been Re-Arranged!
The meal will feature speakers including ex-Rovers hero Daavid Kelly, BBC Sport's Ray Stubbs and of course John Achterberg himself as well as an appearance by comedian Sean Styles.
Tickets are priced at £25.00 and are available now from the Club Shop. Tickets already purchased prior to the date change are still valid and payments must be made by Cash or Cheque.
