Moore Pre-MK Dons: "Let Them Worry About Us"

Ronnie Moore looked ahead on Thursday to Tranmere's home game against high-flying Milton Keynes Dons on Saturday afternoon in Coca-Cola League One and insisted that if Rovers perform to their recent standards in home matches, they have a great chance.

On Thursday, Rovers Boss Ronnie Moore gave his thoughts on this Saturday's home match against Milton Keynes Dons in Coca-Cola League One with a hint of optimism.

Moore told Tranmere World...... 

"They're in second spot because they've consistently won games this season.  They're a good counter attacking side and they'll try and hit you on the break.  We've got to be disciplined and make sure that whatever formation we play that we have a holding midfield player so we don't get caught out on the break.

"We know it will be a really tough game, but it's a game we can win.  We're at home and we'll have to take the game to them.  They'll see a completely different side to the one they played when they were at home. If we perform the way we have in the vast majority of our home games then let them worry about us."

On the injury front, Moore gave the following update.....

"We'll see how Goodison is for the weekend.  He's going to train with Les at Raby today and then we'll take it from there.  At the present time it's probably 70-30 that he won't play.  I know Ian Goodison and if Ian Goodison can play he'll play.  He doesn't like missing games."

"Danny Coyne will definitely be missing again but will probably be alright for the Swindon game. John Achterberg has come in and made some tremendous saves."
