For someone who forgot their coat for this game, it was a fairly bitter day but it was dry and despite the heavy looking pitch the weather was OK for football.

Crowd

5,625 fans were inside Prenton Park is slightly more than some matches have seen this season. 

Referee Watch

Russell Booth (Nottinghamshire) - A decent performance by the referee who had no choice but to give the penalty for the visitors and gave out only the one yellow card where other officials may have been more card-happy - 8/10

Best Moment

The goal was the best moment of the game, not just because it was the equaliser that earned us a point but because it was scored by Terry Gornell - his first goal for the Club!

Worst Moment

The penalty the visitors was the right decision but arguably against the run of play so it was a sickener all the more. 

Tranmere Man of the Match

Steven Jennings - Another great performance in midfield from Jenno when the rest of the players seemed mostly below par.  Ryan Shotton also had a good game at right-back but was pipped by Jenno.

Connections

There were plenty of connections in today's game with Rovers players Gareth Edds and Ben Chorley being ex-Dons and Alan Navarro an ex-Rover playing in the Dons side.

Rovers Fans

The Rovers fans made some noise in the top of the Kop particularly when the Stadium announcement asking fans not to persistently stand came across the speakers

MK Dons Fans

Not a great deal of noise from the visitors after the opening ten minutes or so until the penalty went in at their end.  Just six minutes later though they were silenced once again by Gornell's goal.

Summary

After thinking at the start of the game that a point would do in this difficult game, many fans of Rovers will have left disappointed that their side didn't win the game.  A draw was certainly the least Rovers deserved.

Entertainment Value

A very high ball game with Rovers lumping for Savage and MK Dons also having their fair share of hoofball too.  There wasn't a rush of clear-cut chances for either side but both sides had their moments  6/10
