If you're unable to make the home match against Swindon Town on Saturday afternoon in Coca-Cola League One, why not discuss the game right here as Tranmere go into the third of three home games on the bounce.

At Total Tranmere, we always like to take note of feedback from the users of the site and respond to it in the best way we can.  One thing we have picked up on more recently is that after Tranmere games there seem to be a lot of different threads that get started about the same game.

As a result of this feedback, from now on we will be providing Match Discussion Threads for every occasion when Tranmere play.

Tranmere are of course playing at home to Swindon Town today in Coca-Cola League One so if you're not going to the game, why not join in the banter right here while the game is going on and even discuss the team news and build up to the game beforehand too?

Maybe if you have a friend or family member texting you from the game you can post their views here for others to see as the game progresses.  Or why not post the line-ups or anything else you can think of.

You could also use this thread to discuss other interesting scores in League One as well as discussing the game afterwards if you have been along to the game.

What you discuss below is up to you but hopefully it can all be focused on one thread to make it easier for everyone to use.

i was very impressed with the fight and determination we showed today!

Kay scored a brillaitn goal and then i thought after that we would go on to win comfortably but aftr goodison was sent off i was expecting us to go on and lose.

But we dug in deep and got a bit of luck along the way and got the win that we needed.

Barnett, Jenno and Gornell where all very impressive today and i think that gornell should start on tuesday night as he was superb today.

This was a vital win which keeps us there or there abouts CMON THE ROVERS!!!

Was a scrappy game which was important we got the three points from due to the hectic away schedule we now face.

Andy Taylor looked rejuvenated at the back making some crucial tackles, especially on Simon Cox to prevent him opening the scoring.

We throughly deserved to take the lead in the second half because Swindon started to sit back and try and play us on the counter looking for a draw. Kaysy took his goal well and considering the height of the keeper did well to keep it out of his reach.

I believe Goodison had no other option than to wipe out Cox, the striker was clearly going to beat the outrushing Achterberg for pace and so an invitable goal. Instead a red card it may have been, we did not allow them to break us down and fought effortlessly right to the final whistle. Gareth Edds when he came on did well and battled for the team getting stuck in where needed.

I know we may have lost Goodison for three matches but lets see what this team is made of. We've shown before we can cope without him and this time we need to make sure the defence is organised and ready for the up and coming games. As has been said earlier no one has really played us off the park for a full 90 minutes and we can mix with the big teams in this league, everyone can beat anyone and we just need to put a consistent run of performances together to consolidate are position in the eight and then push on to the play offs.

With Hartlepool and Northampton away next, we could certainly fighten a few teams if we took four points out of it, going into the Leicester game.

It would be just fantastic if we had a shout at the play offs with 2 games to go and Scunthorpe away is going to define whether we make it or not I feel.

But considering Scunthorpe broke our Wembley dreams for the Johnstone's paint trophy wouldn't it be ironic if we broke their play off dreams! This is why we love Football!

I've heard that Goodison's ban may only be one game for denying a goalscoring opportunity but I'm not certain on that.

As for the game, it wasn't the best but the win was vital for us especially with ten men.

I fear the worst for Tuesday night due to our recent record at Hartlepool but I fancy a win at Northampton on Saturday.

either way its looking like hge prob wont be around for leicester game!!! Fryatt will have a field day lol saying that i personally think Goodison was better off not on the pitch today early on he'd failed to clear on a number of occassions and even rolling the ball straight to their strikers at one point! Ian will be glad to put today behind him i'm thinking.
Shuker was another who was god awful today... whats happened to him since that injury he is a totally different player, he usued to be in team of the season now he'd struggle to get in at Chester! Why dont swindon start that midget balck winger they brought on at the end, he always gives us the run around and i think we should look into him in the summer. We can't afford Shukers wages if he's not going to put in the performances he used to for us..

grumble over tho we battle hard and luckily got a VITAL 3 points. i think Swindon will be gutted today they deserved a lot more. Shame leeds got winner but thinks are still looking interesting..

Our defending was superb through-out and it's very fulfilling to come away from a game like that having won, because 6 months ago we'd have lost that game.

Last 20 minutes they pretty much battered us, always taking the game to us and attacking our back four, but John hardly had a save to make. Chorley was immense and Andy Taylor was absolutely superb (my MOTM for the day). Other than them (luckily) hitting the post, I don't think John had a save to make second half, although Shotton did clear one of the line.

I thought it was a sending off. A very clever piece of play by Cox, whether intentional or not, as he ran right across Goodison's run and Goodison tripped him. Red card.

We proved we can defend without Ian though, Kay and Chorley superb, with Ben winning everything in the air.

Taylor made, for me, the tackle of the season first half to keep it 0-0 with a superb sliding effort to deflect a shot away from the open goal, whilst he also made some key tackles through out.

Gornell impressed thoroughly. No clear chances in front of goal but he won EVERYTHING that came his way in the air and his chest control is superb.

Another special meantion to Jenno too. The best player of 2009 so far by a country mile. We MUST get him tied down to a new deal.

We didn't deserve it but we won. Three very important points and some confidence to take into the Hartlepool game. If we win there we send out a real message to those above us.

By the way, that's 13 league games without a defeat at Prenton Park now!

I would say Chorley's block at Orient Away was slightly better lol but Taylor's was fantastic too!

Agree about Jenno. Has to be a Player of the Season this time around?

Chorley most improved player i think too.
Massive worries about Jenno an Kay etc still being here next season though. some of the lads i think we could do with shifting but there are definately a handful we'll be stupid to lose

We've got the core of a fantastic side.

To be perfectly honest if we don't get promoted this year but still keep the nucleus of the side there's no reason why we can't be in the top two this time around next year .

Ronnie has had three years so far and I believe there's great things ahead for our side.

On the Agenda of 13 games unbeaten at home, don't want to jynx it but next game is Leicester! Was also looking at the table before and we have the second best home record behind Leicester.

Last year we finished with 65 points. That means we need to pick up only 13 points from our last 39 to equal it. I think we can get close to 25 in our last thirteen game.

Win eight, draw one. Easy!

Mind you, I think if we got 25 points we'd be challanging for an automatic spot! Get 18/20 and we'll be right up there

I believe our last five home matches are all winnable. Not saying we are going to take maximum points but if we did then I reckon we could have another two away wins between now and the end of the season which would be a tidy sum of points.
