If you're unable to make the home match against Huddersfield Town at Prenton Park on Saturday afternoon in Coca-Cola League One, why not discuss the game right here as Tranmere look to make ground on the other teams around them in their quest for a play-off spot.

At Total Tranmere, we always like to take note of feedback from the users of the site and respond to it in the best way we can.  One thing we have picked up on more recently is that after Tranmere games there seem to be a lot of different threads that get started about the same game.

As a result of this feedback, from now on we will be providing Match Discussion Threads for every occasion when Tranmere play.

Tranmere are of course playing at home against Huddersfield Town on Saturday afternoon at Prenton Park in Coca-Cola League One so if you're not going to the game, why not join in the banter right here while the game is going on and even discuss the team news and build up to the game beforehand too?

Maybe if you have a friend or family member texting you from the game you can post their views here for others to see as the game progresses.  Or why not post the line-ups or anything else you can think of.

You could also use this thread to discuss other interesting scores in League One as well as discussing this game afterwards if you have been along to the game.

What you discuss below is up to you but hopefully it can all be focused on one thread to make it easier for everyone to use.

Yeah I thought Jennings and Kay were immense once again, and Kays goal tally is brilliant, I just hope we can keep him. Fantastic goal from Bas, would love to see more of that. Here is where the acid test begins, away from home, hopefully we can get that away win on tuesday to set us up for the other two!

6 more wins SHOULD see us into the playoffs, which presuming we win the 3 home games left, were going to need 3 away wins!

Surley we can take this confidence into tuesday and win at Cheltenham, and im very optimistic of a victory against a oldham side that appear to be cracking on and off the pitch.

Not a great first half but a brilliant result yet again.

As stressed before the away form is even more vital now and to be where we are with the away form we have had is testament to how well we have done at home this season!

I can't wait for the next two or even three games now but points are vital of course if we are to stay in the hunt.

Great win and how good does it feel to be in the play-offs. Walked away from Prenton Park today with a massive smile on my face because we're sixth and in such a threatening position. If we can beat Cheltenham and Oldham then by God we're looking good!

Fantastic goal from Savage today and brilliant that Kay got two more - that's ELEVEN for the season now. Incredible record. Almost as many as he scored in his whole Barnsley career! We MUST get him tied down soon!

Thought Sonko did well when he came on in fairness whilst back four were solid. Jenno MOTM!

What a great tactical move from Ronnie that has been this season. Kay was playing all around the back 4 last season and in defensive midfield, now he in midfield, and attacking more for us and he's turning into a League One Lamps or Gerrard smiling bouncing smiley . I never would have thought that he would have scored as many as he has done, but all of them have been thoroughly deserved.

Danny Mayor, what can I say about him? He's been great down the wing, gets himself into decent positions and gets a few decent balls into the box, and looks to be a great prospect, Ronnie spotted a real gem there I think, and our right side of the field is probably the strongest in the league now with Shotts and Mayor.

As far as my few weeks earlier points requirements for the end of the season goes based on past play-off points tallies.

4 wins gives us a slight chance of making the play-offs, that's winning our last 3 home games and 1 of our away games.

5 wins will give us at least 74pts, that's been enough in 3 of the last 10 seasons.

6 wins will get us there in my opinion. I reckon about 75pts will be the benchmark for 5th given the current table and games still to come. I will stick with what I said yesterday and hope that Leicester win their last 9 games, they have Peterborough, Leeds, Scunthorpe and Southend left, so hopefully they can take at least a point from these 4 sides. Now you probably think that Peterborough is a strange one to hope they beat, but I wouldn't say that they are too far out of our reach yet. We have a game in hand over them, which is on Tuesday, and only 2 of their last 8 matches are against sides in the bottom half of the table. They are playing teams in with a shout of the play-offs, and if they drop points to them, then we would want to still have a chance of overtaking them in the play-off race...

A win on Tuesday and we could go into the big one on Saturday level with Leeds and 2pts off Millwall, and 4pts safe in 6th spot.
at the start of March we were 6pts behind Oldham, and if we win our next 2 matches we will be 7pts ahead of them, with a better goal difference as well! It's probably fair now to say that teams from Walsall downwards aren't going to make the play-offs this season, they would have to win all 9 of their matches to make the 75pt mark.

I must say, this is the most optimistic i have been about us since the last time we reached the play-offs. The team are playing out of their skin at the right time, they have looked like they are determined and full of energy and if they can keep this form up then we should be able to win on Tuesday and at Oldham as well.

Their goal was because Goodison was out of position, but the whole team was great apart from that, they barely had a shot for Coyne to save,if we play like that for the next few games we will definately make the play-offs

Yes but he was injured and has been playing not fully fit.We he plays then we free up Kay to play in the middle. I said he was great there a few months ago and alot of people on this site said he was not as good in the middle and better when he plays at the back. We would not be near the playoffs if it was not for supper Kay this season. We have to make sure we keep him but i think it will be very hard to keep him. But again Tranmere showing us what they can do come Rovers lets make the playoffs

whilest i agree leaving Kay unmarked was stupid Mark, i have to say Goodison was worse because you definately can't give Andy Booth the exact same space either! Booth is ancient and is rubbish!! however his ariel ability is second to none in our division so we HAVE to cut out poor defending like that.

Has anybody else noticed just how rubbish the first halves have been for a while ors it just me.. It's like the team dont turn up till half time.
