Rovers to miss Shotton

Defender Ryan Shotton is set to miss the next two Rovers games through suspension
Tranmere Rovers will be without Ryan Shotton for their next two matches as the defender sits out a two-match suspension, aquired after the 20-year old picked up his tenth yellow card of the season during Tranmere's 2-0 win over Oldham Athletic at Boundary Park on Saturday.
Shotton, who is in his second loan spell at Tranmere from Premier League club Stoke City, will therefore miss Tranmere's trip to Brighton this weekend and their home match against Bristol Rovers on Sunday 5th April, though he returns to the squad for their trip to Walsall on Easter Saturday.
The defender has played 32 games for Tranmere this season, most of which have been at right-back, whilst he has also scored six crucial goals, four of which have been winners.
He has therefore been a crucial player for the Prenton Park outfit this season, winning praise from a number of managers, which will mean Tranmere may find it very hard to get the defender back on the Wirral next season.
His absense over the next two games however opens the door for either Danny Holmes or Gareth Edds to come into the Rovers side at right-back, and they will be looking to impress manager Ronnie Moore and help Tranmere towards that trip to Wembley in May.
