Tickets for Tranmere's final match of the season away at Scunthorpe United have gone on sale this morning on a priority basis, initially for Season Ticket holders only before going on general sale in the final days leading up to the match on 2nd May.
Tickets for the Tranmere's final away fixture of the season at Scunthorpe United on Saturday 2nd May which kicks off at 3.00pm have gone on sale at the Prenton Park ticket office this morning on a priority basis.
The Club has confirmed that is has received an allocation of 1,600 tickets for the game with all tickets being for reserved seating in the AMG South Stand behind the goal at one end of Glanford Park.
With Rovers still chasing a play-off spot and the game at Scunthorpe still likely to have some meaning depending on results for the Iron this week, there is sure to be demand for tickets that will outweigh the amount available.
On that basis, tickets are now on sale to season ticket holders only on production of Voucher G from season ticket books until Thursday 23rd April. Supporters can buy one ticket for every Season Ticket Voucher G presented at the time of purchase.
After the Thursday 23rd April deadline, tickets will then be available to season ticket holders, supporters with four home programme vouchers (on the corner of the back page of every programme) from the 2008/09 season, and supporters with four away match ticket stubs from the 2008/09 season.
This second opportunity to buy tickets will run from Friday 24th April to Monday, 27 April. Supporters can buy one ticket for every four programme vouchers or every four away match ticket stubs presented at the time of purchase.
All remaining tickets will then go on general sale on Tuesday 28th April.
Speaking of the final game ahead in League One this season, Manager Ronnie Moore tols the Tranmere Rovers Official Website...
"This could be a massive game for the Club as both teams could be playing to get in the Play Offs."
"We want as many supporters there as possible cheering on the team to give us the best possible chance of making the top six."

Saturday 25th April: 10.00am - 2.00pm and half an hour after the Yeovil Town game.
Monday 27th April: 9.30am - 5.00pm
Tuesday 28th April: 9.30am - 7.00pm (LATE NIGHT OPENING)
Wednesday 29th April to Friday 1st May: 9.30am - 5.00pm

i'm not so sure.. money is tight.. i think alot of people will wait till tues see how results have gone etc... i do however think there will be queues on the tues!!!

hi there, unable to get scunthorpe tickets as phone lines were down yesterday and when I got through they said they would get back to me but failed, has anyone got a spare ticket u21 ticket or above for sale as don't really want to be sitting in the home end. e-mail me if you have. thanks
Just to let you know Alfy that Scunthorpe are apparently only selling tickets for the home end to those who have bought home match tickets for Glanford Park this season.
The funny thing is that some Rovers fans moaned when Leeds wanted more tickets in home areas with people asking why they should give up their usual seat for them to have more tickets.
Now it's the other way around it seems to be a different story. If they aren't going to fill their end then maybe but if they may not know that until the day of the game then there's not a lot that can be done I suppose.
they must be desperate for fans as on there official site they have said all groups of school children get free entry to the game and any adult looking after 10 kids at the game gets in free... basically giving away their tickets!!!
well they got something like 4300 at their home gome against MK Dons when wewere away at Leeds. thats one of the biggest games of the season, they had to win to go ahead of us as we were favourites to lose to Leeds. And that is the best they could do.. MK Dons fighting for automatic at the time and not particularly far from Scunny i expect would have took maybe 1000? which suggests Scunny got approx 3000 home fans for a game of that magnitude!!!
Haha just seen the game was a category B game last time a looked on their site (about a week ago) now has been moved up to a category A game... so people who bought their tickets last week would have paid less for them seems a bit unfair on people buying their tickets later lol
