I thought we played with great spirit and determination tonight. There was a buzz about the place...an element of hope that all might be ok after the weeks of despair. I enjoyed the match very much and thought Bakayogo was great. Great crosser of the ball. Good to see Edds back. Well done to Les and his team!

I wouldn't say we slumped. Apart from the first part of the second half I thought we were edging it and didn't look like we were gonna concede.

Another defeat I know, but with a bit of work I see potential yet in this side.

I think Mahon and McLaren are no longer good enough, and we are only a strong midfielder away from having a team capable of achieving safety.

i honestly dont think mahon was that bad!!!! he had some nice touches and dribbles and worked hard. He has played very little football the last couple of years plus has been played out of position (he was never and is never a flying left winger!!)

Mclaren i have never rated tbh BUT when the sending off came he seemed fired up and looked better. Ash Taylor with edds in the centre???

I thought it was a very entertaining game with the wrong result obviously. We need a midfielder who can stamp his authority on the game and some firepower up front.Thought BackoftheEcho had a good game. Personally though I wouldn't have brought Shukes on towards the end, the big man Ricketts should have come on.

I thought Mahon had a decent game. Bakayogo sent in some dangerous crosses, but has trouble getting back into position.

We need two centre backs and an Eddie Bishop/Neil McNab style midfielder.

I think Ricketts should have come on to replace Moore at the end, Ian looked tired and we needed someone to get his head on the end of the crosses getting whipped in by bakayogo.

Though Mahon played well myself, and that Welsh did just as well when he came on.

Oh yeah will someone PM me this manager name please? Would be intriging to know, ta lads.

I thought it the worst i have ever seen from a Tranmere side and that's saying something.

With a so called defense up field i could see how the goals against not only came about, but i wince for the immediate future.
Will another manager be able to organise this lot in quick time ?
It's a league two outfit if ever i saw one. Bottom of !

Whoever gets the manager's job has got a lot of work to do with this squad from what I saw in my first 'live' televised game for Rovers in my 38 years in Oz.
