TTFC Player Profile - Wayne Franks

One of the ‘golden oldies’ of the TT squad, Wayne is usually played in midfield but has also been known to play both in defence and upfront when required making him something of a utility player.

Until Nigel Cooper joined TT in 2008, Wayne was the oldest TT player by almost ten years and is an ever present at training along with grandson Jonathan.

Wayne has played in all three Prenton Park squad games so far and scored in 2009 during the rout by the Mike Jackson XI.

Wayne is a committed attendee at training sessions and matches and only struggles to attend when there are midweek events due to his evening work shifts.
