James joined Total Tranmere in 2007 and is the team's most travelled player, living in Coventry and travelling up for TT training and Tranmere home matches on a regular basis.

A natural finisher, Jimmy has always bagged goals for his Coventry based teams and his performances for TT have been no exception including netting on his debut in a 2-1 win over Royal Bengal FC - TT's first ever match win.

James is contracted with TT until the end of the 2010/11 season.
