Aldershot Home Game the Prize for Replay Win

If Rovers can overcome Leyton Orient in the FA Cup first round replay in ten days time, this afternoon’s second round draw at Wembley has ensured that their reward will be a home tie against League Two side Aldershot in the second round of the competition in just under a fortnight’s time.

Following yesterday's 1-1 home draw against League One rivals Leyton Orient in Coca-Cola League One which ensured a replay in ten days time in East London, Rovers at least found themselves in this afternoon's second draw which handed Rovers or Orient a home tie with League Two side Aldershot in a fortnight's time.

Aldershot made it through to the second round thanks to a 2-0 home win over Bury on Saturday afternoon and will be looking for a bigger scalp with either Rovers or Orient.

Stadium Tranmere (Day)

The replay of the first round game between Orient and Tranmere will take place on Tuesday 17th November at 7.45pm whilst the second round game should Rovers progress is scheduled to be played on the weekend of 28th/29th November.

Total Tranmere will bring you details of ticket and travel news for the replay as we get it during this week.

And a winnable game. 3rd round is where the moneys at. The replay will probably be harder than this.

something wrong when so many clubs that are part of the Football assosiation and have their financial backs to the wall, then the likes of Man U Chelsea who ever gets the final will share almost £3.000.000 !
You watch a game like yesterday at Northwick (glad we didn't get them !) great entertainment ! kind of thing that makes the competition. Just hope thet'll have got money for the match being on tv live
