Goalkeeper Daniels joined Tranmere on a season long loan from West Bromwich Albion in summer 2009. He was an original Manchester United trainee and has appeared for England's under 18s side.

Daniels signed for the Baggies two years ago and spent the entire 2008/09 season on loan at League Two side Shrewsbury, he played a key role in their journey to the play offs making 42 appearances. In the play off semi-final he saved two penalties in a shootout with Bury to send his side to Wembley, where they subsequently lost 1-0 to Gillingham.
