By Total Tranmere
January 25 2010
Throughout the season we provide you with a platform to discuss each and every Rovers match whether it be the build-up to kick-off or post match analysis so here we bring you the Match Discussion Thread for Tuesday evening's Coca-Cola League One match at hoe to Yeovil Town as Rovers look to continue their quest to get out of the League's bottom four......

Tuesday 26th January - Coca Cola League One
Tranmere R v Yeovil T
Kick-Off 7.45pm at Prenton Park
For those fans who can't make some of the Rovers games this season, particularly the high number of costly and time consuming southern away games, we at Total Tranmere will be providing a Match Discussion Thread on the Site for every Rovers game.
The thread will allow you to discuss everything from the pre-match build up and starting line-up to the game it as it progresses and the post-match anaylsis.

Where possible, Total Tranmere staff will post up the starting line-up and substitutes on the thread as soon as it is made known at the game.
Tranmere of course host Yeovil Town on Tuesday night in a re-arranged Coca-Cola League One game, so if you're not going to the game why not join in the banter right here while the game is going on.
Maybe if you have a friend or family member texting you from the game you can post their views here for others to see as the game progresses.
You could also use this thread to discuss other interesting scores throughout the league as well as discussing this game afterwards if you have been along to the game.
What you discuss below is up to you but hopefully it can all be focused on one thread to make it easier for everyone to use.

now closer to safety with still 2 games in hand on wycombe,
made up for ash taylor, deserved his goal for his hard work,
hopefully itm can kick on from here and get a few more goals, decent finish

Excellent second half performance, McLaren was abysmal, should of been sent off and made some stupid challenges. Back 5 were good again.
Man of the Match for me is Ian Moore, I've criticised him a lot recently and still stand by what I said that over the last 6 weeks he's been abysmal. Tonight however was much much improved.

We played with a much quicker tempo in the second half put them under pressure and got our rewards. We had the chances to win by more and yet again were dened a penalty with a clear handball right at the end.
For me moore was just man of the match ahead of goodison.
Just a thought when did we last get a penalty?
At half-time I'd have given Man of the Match to Goodison but second half I'd have said Ian Moore and would probably stick with him as my final choice.
One thing that did annoy me tonight is this kids for a quid thing. I understand the club has to do everything it can to generate more support from the community and on paper its a great idea and fantastic offer. However, on two occassions tonight a group of young lads came sat in the row in front of me and persisted to stand up throughout periods of the match. When the stewards politely asked them to sit down, they were completely rude and disrespectful to them.
It doesnt make them come back again where they'd pay a fiver, it just gets them in for one game. The idea of the offer is to encourage them to come the matches more often but the way we play and the league we're in, we're only likely to get the hardcore 5 or so thousand that will turn in week in week out.
