mM only positive prediction that the score won't be as bad as the home game agains them.

For me it was a draw that almost felt a defeat coming out of the game - we could and should have won.

However I'd have snapped anyones hand for a point beforehand so got to be happy with that.

Man of the Match for me was Bakayogo.

By far the most entertaining, and best performance of the season so far. A complete turn-around from the home game earlier this season.

Daniels made some excellent saves and in the first half he kept us in it, and made a few more towards the end of the second half.

Bakayogo was good, but not as good as he has been recently. He got turned a few times and picked up two silly bookings (although he had to make the tackles really, but if he wasnt so badly positioned he would of got the ball.) Saying that though it's probably the first time we've had any claim to criticise him and he's been by far the best signing this year.

Thought Goodison and Ash were great again, and Logan was absolutely superb!

Curran was absent in the first half but he got more involved after half time, chased everything, made some good crosses, defended well but he had two brilliant chances at 1-1 to put us in the lead and he should have netted them. Welsh/Edds both did their defensive job as you would expect, nothing spectacular but they did what was needed. McLaren was hit and miss in the first half, he kept giving the ball away but at time he defended well. The second half however was his best 45 minutes of football this season.

Shuker was another who was brilliant, by far our most creative player, even defending he made a few clearances which stopped clear goalscoring chances. Mahon replaced him and I didn't think he did to well, to be fair he wasn't on for long but he had a chance to put a cross in when he was on the edge of the six yard box at the bi-line, it had no power and was straight at the keeper.

ITM was brilliant again, and Gornell was improved on recent weeks.

If you'd told me we'd got a point before the game I'd have been delighted, however I'm actually disapointed with a point, we had the chances to win. We should of won, but we can take confidence from a point away to a top 3 side and hopefully win next week!

What a fantastic second half that was from the lads. If we had a clinical striker we would have won, Curran's miss being particularly poor. I just really hope Les finds a striker from somewhere, as although I would have been happy to take a point before the game, I was a little annoyed we didn't take all three.

In saying that though there were a few scrambles at the end, with Daniels making a great save.

shuker has certainly made a big impact in his last 2 an a half games..

i posted the other week that when in crisis you have to build from the defence up.. i noted that i think we have sorted that now and we need to progress and build further up the pitch. I have to say it seems that Les is slowly doing this. i think with Bas being back i'd maybe look at replacing Mclaren or a decent winger now to help provide for the front lads.. but then i wouldnt turn my nose up at a striker tbh. Also good to see Les has noticed the 4-3-3 isn't always the best weapon and prepared to change this when needed.

we are far from flawless and just one injury could well get us sent down if its a crucial player, however saying that i think if we keep the effort being put in lately and we put our all into winning at PP then we should be safe. I look forward to the summer seeing what kind of players Les looks to bring in

16 points from 10 games now, which is excellent form! If we averaged that over a season we'd get 73 points so we're in the form of a play-off team really.. Well thats my positive view of it all.
